Deirdre Folsom is a physical therapist at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She specializes in outpatient physical therapy. As the clinical lead at the Medical Office building, she plays a role mentoring staff and in program development. Deirdre specializes in treating patients with pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, pelvic pain, prenatal and postpartum musculoskeletal injuries. Deirdre is motivated by the day-to-day successes and finding methods that bring results. She also enjoys partnering with her patients to provide education, advice and exercises them so they can continue on their own for life long success.­­ Deirdre’s ongoing goal is to empower her patients to work through injury and illness.
